Welcome to Ascenti Physio Braintree

We offer a range of physiotherapy services including injury rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy, post-op care, pelvic health and pregnancy physio, home-working health checks, and online appointments. Our expert physios can support you with common conditions including back and neck pain, recovery from injury, preventative techniques, and the management of long-term conditions.

If you are looking for obstetrics related physiotherapy (antenatal or postnatal care) please call our customers services helpline (0330 678 0850) for a remote initial assessment with one of our specialist trained therapists. They will assess your symptoms virtually and ensure you continue your treatment with the most appropriate therapist for your needs.

Please note we cannot support the following conditions:

• Caesarean section – scar site management advice
• Sexual Dysfunction – vaginismus/dyspareunia
• Transgender care
• Perineal tears

Finding our clinic

Our Braintree clinic is situated in Suit 11 on the ground floor of ‘The Centre,’ which is the building next to the Lakes Innovation Centre, within the Lakes Industrial Estate off Lakes Road (B1018). The entrance to the centre is at the side of the building and is halfway up the road towards the post office.  There is signage for Ascenti with the number 411* to input to contact the physiotherapist at the door. On entering the building walk through the door stating Suite 11 and wait in the waiting room.

It’s conveniently located with Braintree railway station an 11-minute walk away, and bus stops close by on Chapel Hill and Lakes Road.  You can find Braintree - The Centre on Google Maps here, or alternatively you can find us using our What3Words link here.

If you’ve not visited us before, we recommend arriving about five minutes before your appointment start time in case you have any issues finding us.

Parking and other info

There is one parking space available for Ascenti patients in the car park to the left of the building.  Please park in bay number 11 only, which is situated between the building and the yellow bollard.

 Unfortunately, there is no disabled access into the building or treatment room. If you have access needs, please get in touch with our contact centre to discuss alternative clinics.
