Types of cookies we use

Functionality Cookies 

These enable Ascenti to provide you with a more personalised experience. They help use to remember data such as your language preference. This information is anonymous and cannot track your browsing activity on another website. 

Style 

By using the accessibility options on our website to change your colour/font a cookie will be stored on your computer to remember your choices. This cookie will be stored for 30 days before being deleted.

Ascenti cookie opt-in

This remembers that you have clicked the ‘accept cookies’ button so that the banner will no longer display until the cookie has expired . This will be retained for 5 years. 

Performance cookies

These collect information about how you use our website so we can improve it for you in the future. For example, they collect information on what pages you visit most often and any error messages you may get. The information collected by these cookies is anonymous. Third party cookies & remarketing

Hotjar

We use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize this service and experience. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Facebook Pixel

The collected data remains anonymous and Ascenti cannot see the personal data of any individual user. However, the collected data is saved and processed by Facebook. Facebook Op-out

Facebook has control of the information gathered through Facebook Pixel however you can opt out of Facebook’s use of cookies and the pixel through settings on your Facebook account.
