Ascenti employees raise more than £700 for charity partner the MS Society and sign up to do Three Peaks
The largest independent provider of physiotherapy and associated services in the UK, Ascenti, are proud to be supporting the MS Society this year.
The Ascenti team has already raised more than £700 for the cause. London based physiotherapists held a charity rugby match, office staff at the company’s HQ rode 264 miles on a stationary bike and a team of six Ascenti employees will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in October.
CEO, Stephanie Dobrikova, said: “We are proud to be partnering with the MS Society this year and that our staff suggested and voted for such a good cause. Our business is about helping people to elevate their health and live active lives, so it feels great to be supporting a charity with a shared purpose.”
More than 100,000 people in the UK have multiple sclerosis (MS) – the most common neurological condition in young adults. It is painful and often exhausting, and can cause problems with how they walk, move, see, think and feel.
Dr Emma Whitcombe, Executive Director of Fundraising at the MS Society said: “We are extremely grateful for Ascenti’s support and are thrilled that they will be joining the MS Society’s community of supporters and fundraisers. Their generous support enables us to continue fighting to improve treatment, information and services to help improve the lives of people living with MS, their families and carers.”
Ascenti directly employees more than 600 staff and the business is hoping for an impactful fundraising effort, with an end target of £4,550.
