Ascenti is the UK’s leading provider of physiotherapy and mental health services, helping thousands of people improve their health and live active lives every day.

With over 25 years of experience serving both the public and private sectors, we are industry leaders in clinical expertise, dedicated to delivering high-quality care through our distinct clinical philosophy.

About the role

We are looking for a Communications Officer to join our fast-paced Communications & Marketing Team, playing a key role in both internal and external communications.

This is a varied role where you’ll create compelling content, manage internal and external communication channels, and support marketing campaigns to help strengthen the Ascenti Group’s brand and engage employees, customers, and partners. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, as well as external partners and suppliers, ensuring our messaging is clear, impactful, and aligned with our business goals. This is a perfect role for someone who wants to explore more about communications early in their career.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support the delivery of internal communications, managing content calendars, producing engaging material for our employee e-newsletter (read by over 1,000 staff), and assisting with intranet updates. You’ll also contribute to employee engagement initiatives such as company awards and charity partnerships.

Externally, you’ll help plan and deliver content for social media, review sites, and marketing campaigns. You’ll manage our Trustpilot and Google Business accounts, ensuring our patient communications are clear and effective, while supporting recruitment marketing efforts. You’ll also gather and publish testimonials, news articles, and blogs, showcasing our impact and expertise.

Creativity is a key part of the role, and you’ll take ownership of photography and brand assets, ensuring all communications are visually engaging and brand compliant. You’ll edit and prepare visual content using Adobe Photoshop and Canva and create animations and videos to support internal and external campaigns. As our brand champion, you’ll ensure consistency across all channels and provide guidance to colleagues on best practice.

You’ll also provide general support to the team, managing our communications inbox, handling press and media enquiries, and maintaining our internal employee database.
