In Summer 2022, Ascenti employees voted for Macmillan as their charity partner for 2022/23 and we have currently raised over £8,000 for the charity through traditional fundraising and challenges such as Coffee Mornings, and Ascenti employees participating in the London Marathon.
Macmillan is one of the largest charities providing specialist health care, information, and financial support to people affected by cancer. A charity like Macmillan resonates with many of our employees through personal experiences of the charity helping them or their loved ones.
As part of our employee benefits package, those who have been with us for two years or more will unlock our charity day leave where they can use a paid day off a year on top of their standard annual leave to support a charitable cause.
By extending our partnership for another year we can build stronger relationships with the chosen charity, and it gives us a longer period to fundraise for such a great cause. We will continue to offer two-year partnerships to charities going forward, with the next charity selection taking place in the summer of 2024.
