On Saturday 24 April 2022 a team of Ascenti physiotherapists, who work in the Yorkshire area, completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in aid of our 2021/22 charity partner, Samaritans.
Leading up to the challenge the team put on a number of fundraising events such as a rounders tournament and raffle to help raise money towards their £1,000 target.
Over 50,000 steps and 10 hours later, the team walked 24.5 miles and reached each peak.
Physiotherapy Development Lead, Kirsty Lee, said: "I feel so lucky to be part of a team that not only inspire each other daily at work, but can spend 10 grueling hours together talking through blisters and painful knees, with a smile."
Over the past few years', the Yorkshire team have raised thousands of pounds for our different charity partners by completing challenges such as a sky dive and the National Three Peaks challenge.
